How it works
Done with you, not for you. You make every filing and account yourself, and we guide you through each step.
1. Plan (free)
The Launch Planner builds a checklist for your situation, with official fees.
2. Form your LLC (guided session)
- We guide you as you file online with the Wyoming Secretary of State ($100 + 2.4% card fee). Wyoming is the only state we support today. Delaware and other states are on our roadmap.
- Every LLC needs a registered agent with a street address in Wyoming. If you don't live there, you'll usually hire a commercial registered agent yourself. That's a separate cost, and we can help you compare options.
- State processing times vary. Wyoming says eligible online filings can become active right away.
3. Get your EIN (guided session)
- Apply free on IRS.gov. You must be the "responsible party", the person who controls the company, and have an SSN or ITIN. Without one, the IRS process is by fax or mail and takes longer.
4. Domain, email, landing page
- You buy a domain in your own name (the registrar's price), and we guide you through setting up email forwarding.
- We build and deploy a simple landing page for you.
5. Payments
- You create your own Stripe account and complete Stripe's identity verification yourself, with our guidance. Stripe decides on approval. FounderForge never touches your funds.
