FAQ
How fast can I launch?
It depends mostly on outside providers. Wyoming says eligible online filings can become active right away. The IRS issues EINs online right away to eligible applicants with an SSN or ITIN. Stripe and bank reviews can take longer. Processing times vary, and we can't guarantee any timeline.
What do I have to do myself?
Everything that is a legal or account action: you file your LLC, apply for your EIN as the responsible party, buy your domain, create your Stripe account and verify your identity. We guide you through each step and build your landing page.
Which states do you support?
Today, Wyoming only. Delaware and other states are on our roadmap. Join the waitlist and tell us your state.
Do I need a registered agent?
Yes. Every LLC needs a registered agent with a physical address in Wyoming. If you don't live there, you'll usually hire a commercial registered agent and pay them directly. FounderForge registered agent service is on our roadmap, not available yet.
I don't have an SSN or ITIN. Can I still use FounderForge?
You may be able to form an LLC, but the IRS online EIN tool needs an SSN or ITIN. Without one, you apply by fax or mail (or by phone for international applicants), and it takes longer.
Do you hold my money?
No. You create your own Stripe account, and your customers pay you through Stripe. A FounderForge Stripe Connect platform is on our roadmap.
Is this legal advice?
No. FounderForge isn't a law firm and doesn't give legal, tax or financial advice. Our Terms and Privacy pages are drafts. Talk to an attorney about your situation.
Is pricing final?
No. These are early-access pilot prices, and state and provider fees are extra. Monthly plans are coming soon.
